• A six-deck or 8-deck Shoe is used in Baccarat
• Face cards and 10s have no value
• Cards under 10 are counted at face value
• Aces are worth 1
• Single digits are used
• Double digits drop first digit
Third-card rules for player and banker are comprehensive and clearly established and because they are automatic, you do not need to learn them to play online Baccarat.
A quick look at player’s third-card-rules
When player has a total of 8 or 9 on first two cards, it’s a Natural and hand is over
When player’s total is 5 or less, a third card is drawn
Player takes a third card; bank may or may not take a third card
Player does not take a third card. Bank’s hand stands on 6 or more or a third card is taken on a total of 5 or less
