With baccarat, the most useful playing tips that will help players be more successful are those of using your own common sense when betting and staying alert to what is being dealt to each player and the banker. Being a pure game of chance with no room for player skill to tip the balance one way or another, luck is the only surety.
Because of this rendering of chance alone to determine who wins or loses, it is wise to limit your betting and work with a money management system in order to minimise your overall losses.
Betting on the player hand will slightly reduce your odds of sustained losses.
Betting on the dealer hand carries a house commission, usually 5% although some casinos offer a dealer bet with a lower 4% commission. This makes the dealer bet a good one.
Avoid betting on the tie as this bet carries the worst chances of winning, but offers higher payout odds.
