There are several varieties of bingo but the two more popular of these use either 75 or 90 balls per game. The 75 ball game is most popular in the United States whereas the 90 ball game is more commonly found in the UK, Europe and Australasia. The cards for the 75 ball game are laid out in 5 columns and 5 rows totalling 25 squares. There are random numbers from 1 to 75 marked in each square on the card. Games are played in a variety of patterns on the card from single lines across and down to more complex shapes such as crosses, “T” and “L” shapes etc. For the 90 ball game, the cards are called tickets and come in a “card” comprising six tickets with all 90 numbers distributed across them. Each ticket is laid out with three rows of nine columns. In each row of nine squares, there are five random numbers and four blank squares. Three games are played with each ticket, completing a single row, then two rows, then the final game completing the entire ticket. |
