Barney Frank has been trying to get his online gambling bill to overturn the UIGEA through due process for months now. Each time we read about a minor success with yet another Congressman joining the fight, we get a little more hope that something is gonna happen real soon, but then nothing goes down. Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of getting rid of that stupid law that Bush snuck through, but come on guys. Are we ever gonna see this thing happen or what?

Yeah, I hear you man. The UIGEA is a problem, but you can still get around it just don't try use a credit card or direct wire from your bank. Check out one of the e-wallets and use them and you are home free. There's plenty of casinos that you can still play in the US that way...

Hey Costa, its okay getting round the laws, but my point is the law has to change and Frank is supposed to be changing it but whatever he's doing it keeps getting put back. I'm beginning to wonder if its not just a carrot on the end of a stick to keep us all hoping for something that's never going to get done. At least not too soon anyways.

Hey guys, Frank is getting more support all the while. He's gotten 61 supporters already and it looks like he'll do it. Right now he's trying to get the UIGEA date of December 1 postponed until a year later to give the Bill time to get heard.
