Omaha Poker is also known as Omaha Hi-Lo. This game can be enjoyed in a traditional gambling establishment or you can play it at an online casino. Players are dealt 4 cards, face-down, initially. 5 other community cards are dealt face-up for everyone’s use. Players play in turn, clockwise, and betting follows each round. The games are split into betting rounds. Rounds • Flop—3 community cards. All players can use these to make their 5-card hand. Ready, Lights, Action! • First player to the left of the blinds begins the betting. Winning Low Hands Player must have 5 cards that are 8 or lower. A winning low hand splits the pot with the winning high hand. If there is no low hand that qualifies, high hand takes the entire pot. Some Common Terms Call: equal the amount bet Pre-Flop Four cards are dealt to each player that only they can see. These are the hole cards. |
