Roulette Strategy

With roulette being purely a game of chance, there is no true strategy that will improve a player’s chances of winning. Therefore the best and only true strategy that a player can engage in is the management of funds to limit their losses over time.
That doesn’t mean that every player is guaranteed to lose. Because of the element of luck, some players will win and a few will win large amounts. But the vast majority of players will lose over a period of time, even if they have several mediocre wins along the way. They will naturally bet their winnings and then some more from their reserve of cash.
Many players believe that by the law of averages, when an evens bet such as “red” has come up several times in a row then there is a greater probability of the opposite colour, in this case “black” coming up next. This is a false strategy, as in truth, each spin of the wheel must be treated as an individual spin and whatever has gone before must be ignored. This means that in the real course of play, whether red came up a dozen times before, on the current spin there is still only an evens chance of either red or black coming up.
