The rules of Video Poker are quite simple and the hand combinations are identical to most common variations of poker. These rules can be listed as follows:

Place your bet by either inserting coins into the live machine or clicking the betting tabs on the online version.

Press the start button, usually labelled either “Deal” or “Draw.”

When your cards are dealt, choose which ones you wish to keep and hold them. Press the “Deal” or “Draw” button again and the cards you did not hold will be re-spun in order to create a better hand.

When you’ve finished playing, if you’re bankroll balance is in credit, you can cash out by pressing the button marked “Cash Out” or “Credit.”
