I just mentioned in one of the other threads that I don't think online casinos are going to cheat because they have their reputations at stake and they make a fortune legitimately in any case. So I actually feel pretty safe using the casinos that I play all the time. I've used Neteller for transactions for over a year and they have always been totally right for me. No complaints at all. I think when you've been playing for a while, you start to get used to certain casinos and feel more safe, especially when you win and need to withdraw a few hundred. When it goes smoothly, you get to trust them ok.

So do you not trust the casino your playing in? You didn't say which one you played. If its a seedy casino, then I'd feel a little nervous. But there are plenty of sites that recommend casinos and I find that the same names crop up all the time are the ones to trust more.

I agree there's not much point in established online casinos cheating their member as they make an absolute fortune already. If too many members thought they were being cheated, they'd blow the whistle all over the net and the casino in question would quickly lose its reputation along with a shed load of money. Nope, the established ones are on the level as far as I can tell.

After all when you think about it, only an idiot would kill the goose that keeps laying bigger and bigger golden eggs with no sign of any let up for a long time to come!

Hey, from a point of view on cheating, I reckon the better known online casinos at least are a safe bet.

However, recent news about the leaking of personal data from some casinos and bingo rooms in the UK and Europe makes me wonder about the whole security issue.

Hell, if these casinos can't stop their ex-employees from taking a copy of their member database with them when they get the sack or just leave for whatever reason, then we have a serious theft problem and this is something that the cops should be investigating in earnest.
