Greetings gambling enthusiasts and gaming aficionados everywhere! I return with yet more intrigue and fascination as I ponder the eternal question:

Which came first... the casino or the gambler?

Looking back in history, it seems there have always been centers where people have gathered in order to wager their money, belongings or other items of value on the outcome of certain incidents such as board or card games, sporting events or nature's own surprises such as which of two flies will fly off a wall first!

But which came first?

The gambler or the gamble? The gamer or the game? The need or the satisfaction of that need?

Now I leave you with that surly, perplexing thought lingering on in your brains... until yet I return!

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say the gambler came first, because without the gambler, there wouldn't be a gamble!

Then again, without the gamble, there wouldn't be the need, so there wouldn't be the gamblers... ok, now I'm going for a cold beer...

Has to be the gambler came first cause there has to be someone to do the gambling, know what I mean?
