Hi there everyone. Here's some interesting news. Its been an institution in Australia for decades, but the pokies are in for a rough ride as the Internet gambling scene is growing faster and they're losing out. The goverment is trying to filter out the bad sites, but I reckon its fighting a losing battle and online casinos will eventually take over the place. Its tough for clubs, hotels and pubs that make their living from pokies and not beer and spirits, cause of course we're known for being such restrained drinkers here... |
