Hey folks, its all blowing up in the Province of Quebec as the Canadian state lottery operator Loto-Québec dismissed claims by public health officials that called on the government for a postponement to the launch of online gambling by at least one year. The officials are claiming that some research has suggested that allowing online gambling would lead to increased number of gamblers with a corresponding rise in health risks to residents. Don't quite know how they arrived at that conclusion, unless maybe they thing you might catch something bad from your computer screen...
