So there is serious talk in Hawaii about possibly allowing slots into bars and hotels and even the creation of land casinos. Why is this, when Hawaii is renowned as a family friendly vacation resort? Because, like everywhere else, they have a budget deficit and need to fill the gap. Gambling generates huge sums of money and that's what greedy eyes are falling upon. Of course, that will railroad over the issues of the indigenous population becoming addicted to the casino games - the first groups to suffer when gambling comes to town. We'll see what happens!

Hawaii eh? Now that's somewhere I'd like to go and live. When its freezing cold and wet here in the UK, the lure of sun kissed beaches and warmth, warmth, warmth all day is very tempting... So legalise gambling and I might go and live there!

Now that's my idea of a sunshine state, dude. With legal BJ online in a plush hotel room overlooking a cool beach. Dude, you're killing me. I'm picturing and a tall, cool, exotic drink in one hand, a mouse in the other, a bankroll to die for... and no worries!

Thanks for the replies guys. So like you think Hawaii is a cool place to go live if they legalize online gambling? Well, I sure do, although I'm not at all sure what it would take to make the break from the familiar to the exotic!
