This week the UK government released a consultation on the planned introduction of new licence requirements that will affect overseas online gambling companies. It looks as though they're acting in response to some of the big names moving offshore to avoid the mainland tax, such as William Hill and Ladbrokes moving to Gibraltar. Just like the old saying says, there are two things you can't escape in this life, that's death and taxes!
