I was reading this story in the San Francisco Chronicle about the level of bankruptcies in the UK, which we know is pretty scary, but they cite gambling as one of the problem areas where people are gambling with their mortgage or rent money and leaving themselves so short of money, the only way out is bankruptcy. So be warned, remember the gambler's No1 rule, "Only gamble with money you can afford to lose!"
