WSOP Probabilities

The probabilities of winning the entire tournament can only be guessed at as the individual experience and skill of the thousands of players who have signed up for it will differ enormously and the levels of luck will change day by day and hour by hour.
In its most simplistic terms, there is a 6843:1 chance of winning the tournament which is simply the number of entrants minus one against any one person emerging as the clear winner and scooping the prize that this year is in excess of $9 million.
These odds will of course be shortened considerably for the very experienced players who are currently top of their game as by the benefit of their current player level they will naturally have an advantage over less able or skilful players.
