Anyone know just exactly what the Nevada Gaming Control Board are planning? Sounds like they're trying to clarify the relationships between Nevada-licensed land casino operators and their online counterparts. Does anyone have any ideas what this will mean?

Hi, I just heard that the popular TV game show Deal or No Deal is being brought to the online gambling arena by Virtue Fusion. They are an Alderney-based online bingo software provider, who were recently acquired by Playtech Limited. Well the launch of Deal or No Deal Classic is imminent. It will be a fixed-odds version of the TV game show where the player is offered a DEAL by the banker at the end of each round, which guarantees a cash prize which can be accepted or rejected in the hope of ending up with a much bigger prize at the end of the game, if all goes well, or getting a rubbish prize if it does not.

If I had and kids, there is no way I'd be stupid enough to let them anywhere close to my credit cards. This guy needs to be "concerned" about more important stuff, like are your kids really using the Internet to hack into some government agency or something...

Come on guys, tell it like it really is.
A poll enacted by Fairleigh Dickinson University (uh?) shows only 21% of Americans in favor of legalizing and regulating online gambling. Whoa there, don't get too flustered. they questioned 1001 folks, but on the specific questions of online gambling, only 200 people were questioned. So like that's a very small drop in a very large ocean of the American populace!
I bet 21% of those same folks said the President is a guy called Osama Bin Laden... LOL!

I have no idea what they are doing, and to be perfectly honest, I don't care.
Does that sound a little hard and callous? Well, not really considering they are over 18 and live with my ex and her bloke, so if they are ripping off his credit cards, I say good luck to them, ha!

Hi, I was reading about a guy from Sheffield that has just been arrested for suspicious betting patterns with regards a number of greyhound races that were run in advance of their advertised times. Sounds like he stumbled on a racket and tried his luck but got caught. I suppose that's all part of the lure of the gamble!

Hi, just wanted to drop in and point out that an alarming number of parents have no idea what their kids are getting up to while they're online. That includes gambling at online casinos by stealing your credit card and pretending to be you while racking up some serious losses that you will have to pay for. Be safe and make sure your credit cards are safe and you have installed safe surfing software on your kids laptops to keep them away from gambling sites until they're old enough to make their own choices.

I think there may be some truth to the idea that people will gamble when its illegal for the naughty boy thrill element, but most people do it because they like to do it and its so easy to do online!

That's quite an amazing story. I believe they were caught when the accomplice went to cash in the chips all in one go and aroused suspicion. if they had any sense, they would have been cashing in little by little so as not to arouse suspicion. But then who said anything about having any sense... |

I don't think it has much to do with the illicit nature of illegal gambling that makes people do it. More like they can't be bothered going to a casino to do it and a computer in their own home is far more accessible anyways.
